The Saint Martin guesthouse offers wonderful tranquility.
Still used as a presbytery until recently, the guest house is built against the church.
The garden has been given a new lease of life, with a wide variety of colourful flowers and its ancient lime tree still in place. We have recently planted a vegetable plot at the end of the garden.
The large lounge has a fireplace, comfortable sofas, music and a selection of books.
Outside on the lawn there are garden chairs where you can take advantage of the sun or even find a shady corner to enjoy the birdsong.
Also, the public forest of Russy is just a few metres away.
Can you feel yourself slowing down?
The Loire cycle path is 300 metres further down on the southern bank of the river.
If you have chosen a cycling holiday, we are 25 minutes from Blois-Chambord railway station ; by car we are 7 minutes west of Blois.
This is the route for the Chateaux de la Loire: Chambord, Cheverny, Amboise, Le Clos Luce (and many others) are just 30 minutes by car.
Travelling for business or pleasure, the presbytery is located on the main western route linking Orleans-Nantes-La Bretagne and Normandy. Ans Paris is only at two hours.
